your dream would be heard
miles farther than where you shared it
you wanted change for the next generations

i watched you share your dream
i look at where we are now
i see we have not fully made your dream a reality
though i can join hands with white girl and white boys
we are Still judged for the Color of our skin
we are not able to say “free at last, free at last”
because we are not fully free
yet…
