1. Cafe Dupont
The priciest dinner option out of almost anything, but the quality of the food is immaculate. The menu is very minimal but it truly has all of the best flavors in true high-quality ingredients. In between each course, they will bring you a little meal cleanser that is one bite but absolutely delicious. The food is definitely expensive but worth it to go once in a while.
2. Saigon Noodle House
The best Vietnamese food in Hoover, hands down. The flavors in their Pho and noodle dishes are out of this world, and paired with some hoisin sauce or sriracha, it’s an unforgettable combination. The food is priced very well and their menu is large, leaving something for everyone. They can be quite busy sometimes but the food comes out quick, nice, warm, and filling. Amazing spring rolls with tofu and peanut sauce for an appetizer :)
3. Nori’s Thai and Sushi
Personally, I believe it has the best Pad Thai. The portions are large, and I find myself bringing home leftovers often. Their sushi is also spectacular, and if you can’t choose between a nice warm entrée and some sushi, there are smaller, more simple sushi dishes to order to pair with a large entrée. Their appetizers are all very good. The restaurant is small and there can be a wait time occasionally, but the customer service is amazing. Everyone is so kind and will get you your food quickly.
4. Surin West
A good Asian food option for if you’re downtown and want some fried rice or sushi. The atmosphere is nice and romantic, and it’s a good meet-up spot for a night out with friends or just a small, relaxing date night. Across the street, there is another Asian restaurant that has super good boba, so you could grab dessert there afterwards.
5. Amore
The most romantic dinner spot. Has perfect Italian food that is warm and comforting and placed next to nice candles. The bread is to-die-for and the pasta is perfectly al dente. A little pricey, but it has great service and great food. Perfect for a nice anniversary dinner or generally any special occasion.
