Dazzlers are ranked 10th in the nation!!!
They made history as they competed in UDA’s first ever Game Day division at the National Dance Team Championships! Teams competing in this new multi-layered division are tasked with showcasing who they are on Game Day by competing Spain Park’s fight song, a sideline dance, and a performance routine.
They were also judged on a video submission showcasing community and school involvement. Thanks to Spain Park’s supportive administration, spirited student body, and a great working relationship with the athletics department, they received perfect scores on the video.
With 95 practices of hard work, countless hours of conditioning and multiple competitions, pep rallies, and games over the course of the dance team season, the Spain Park Dazzlers were able to compete against the top schools from around the country and are now ranked 10th in the nation!
Whenever they weren’t competing, they were having a blast at the Disney parks, where Disney extended the park hours until 2:00 am for all 200 competing dance teams. They can’t wait for next season! Go Dazzlers!
