Most students go on about Spring Break at the start of March 1st. They begin their countdown. The first few weeks of March are basically the same as any other. But then, some high schoolers start their official list of things to do for Spring Break around this time.
Then comes the third week of March.
Around this time, you start to question your grades and making sure they are good. Next, you start to question if you will be able to do anything if your grades are not as good. The week then becomes stressful because for some students they need to make up a lot of work.
Students then head to bonus points to increase the grade. On top of that, they have tests or quizzes that they need to study for. They will try to pass the test or quiz to the best of their ability.
Some students study harder than they usually do, and other students that understand everything and are prepared enough for the test.
After taking the final test of the 3rd nine weeks, students feel the relief of a boulder is lifted off their shoulders. They seem happier and question what they will do for their last week before spring break. Knowing that any work that the teacher gives them will most likely not get done because no one likes to study over spring break.
Now, the week before Spring Break is among us students, and as far as we are concerned, schoolwork is no longer on our minds.
