Favorite Memories-

These are just a few of the many memories created during these four years:

  • Going to New York City with Law Academy.

  • Going to every football game with the Band.

  • Going to the Special Olympics with Mrs. Bye's class as a student aid.

  • Football Games.

  • Pep rallies-especially the black out one.

  • Winning a state championship with Sarah Ashlee!!

  • All the times I would go outside in the courtyard and eat with my friends.

  • Rushing on the field when we beat Oak Mountain in overtime my junior year or Battle of the Sexes this year!

  • All the fun in Coach Whitaker and Mr. Stamper's APUSH class. I will never forget our snail family.

  • Winning the spirit stick as a Junior on Senior night.

  • Forming so many genuine friendships and being able to experience pep rallies, basketball games, football games, dodgeball tournaments, etc. alongside people you know you will love forever.

  • Competing in the BEST Robotics Competition down in Auburn.

  • Going to Stamper’s class each day and hearing him blast some rock song.

  • Performing with Rhapsody in Blue.

  • Buffalo chicken pizza in the lunchroom.

  • Literally all of Madame Cash’s classes.

  • My favorite memory is probably the Senior Luau. That may be a cliche answer, but I had a lot of fun, and it was a super laid back event. Seeing the senior class all together again felt strange but also created a sense of normalcy.

Favorite Class-

APUSH, AP Lit, and Engineering dominated the survery!

  • Enjoy the little things.

  • Senior year is so much easier than Junior year, so don't stress about it.

  • Please enjoy the time you have here while you do have it because once it is gone, you can't get that time back. Be young, have fun, and have a plan for the future, but enjoy where you're at right now while it is here.

  • Do most of the college stuff over the summer.

  • Take classes you enjoy your senior year. It is supposed to be fun, so enjoy it. Challenge yourself but not to the point of misery.

  • Have fun don't let the grades drag you down.

  • Take only as many AP classes as you can handle. If you take too many, it can hurt all of them.

  • Become friends with people outside of your "group" because life is too short and high school is too short to limit yourself to people that your familiar with. Reaching out to more people will impact you more than you think.

  • Enjoy everything you can.

  • Enjoy the little moments.

  • Don't succumb to senioritis and don't sweat the small stuff. You don't have to have it all figured out.

  • Don't wish away the year because before you realize it it'll be over and you'll wish you had one more day.

  • Don't think in absolutes- put your mental health before your grades. Live for yourself; it's your life and it could be taken at any given moment. Be open minded and listen to criticism.

  • Don't waste too much time. Your struggles are always shared with people and you probably will have no idea, so talk to people and give them the benefit of the doubt. If you don't know what you want to do with your life, the last thing that will help you figure it out is rushing into things. Take your time and do what YOU want to do. Make it because for god's sake, you owe it to yourself.

  • Appreciate Mr. Reinsch's life lessons.
