Spain Park High School Law Academy competed at the annual Alabama Youth in Government
Youth Judicial competition on October 9th, which was the regional competition. There were two regional competitions and Spain Park hosted the Northern Regional Competition. A total of 17 teams competed and several of them were Spain Park teams. Craig Thompson, Phillip Pate, and Jennifer Smith, the three law teachers, were all there in support of their students.
The teams that moved onto the state competition will compete on November 6th and 7th in
Montgomery, Alabama, at the federal courthouses against teams from across the state.

We are so proud of the teams and the students, and we wish the best of luck to all the students who are competing in November!
